Title: Bone Skinning Tut?

can anyone point me towards a good tutorial to learn to skin bones with objects? i need this for a project im making for a friend.  ;)

EDIT: Okay, i tried to do something with skinning but it doestn move, can someone help. (The file is attatched.)

I looked at your file, and basically what you need to do is change the size of the envelope weights so that the mesh is enclosed by them.
On Mp3d's site (http://www.mp3d.info/Anim8ortutorials/index.html) you can find a good deal of great tutorials, and in both the beginners section and the intermediate section there are skinning tutorials, they should both be very helpful.

Hey my suggestion to you is use the weight brush not bone influence.  It is much much easier to use and gives you more control.  I tried rigging whole human bodies down to multiple bones in the fingers and weights are much better.
If you can't find any good tutorials about weights I'll make one for you I guess.
