Title: Seattle kids use Blender (+Anim8or) to re-imagine community

Some of you might have read this at the BlenderNation site, what they don't mention is that the kids also learnt to use Anim8or.

Check out some of the videos.

Nice! I always thought they should have some sort of after school program that teaches kids the noble 3D arts. :)

"Teach them how to 3D model, not to steal all my stuff" I always say. :D

Its funny that you say that Suppastar, because when I was in high school I actually did teach classes on 3d visualization and animation. Using Anim8or of course! It was a hit. I had a full class everyday, and it even was added to my transcripts! It was cool because I had to come up with a whole syllabus and curriculum for the class and get approved by the Cape May County Board of Education. It was fun though. Some of my students even ended up going to school like Full Sail in Orlando Florida for Computer Animation. I was just happy that I could help provide them with the initial knowledge in order to go further with the career for which they aspired. :)

That's cool! What I really like about anim8or is how it really covers a huge area of the basics of 3D modeling and animation, and is really quite user-friendly in the whole process.
