Great textures, great low-poly modeling as well.
Lighting could be done better to though, so the ship fits the environment.

Great job!  Do you plan to add a bump map and specular map?  I feel they would greatly contribute to the model (especially a specular map to give it a metal feel where you need it).
What did you use to UV map?

Fine work  Falloffalot. Putting the shadows in the texture map really does a good job of simulating mesh work and or bumpmapping. Good to keep the bumpmaps out as it saves render timemucho in avi's.

I wasn't planning on adding any more details but I may do if I get time.
I only used UVMapper and photoshop for this one.
Because the model wouldn't unwrap as I wanted I ended up splitting the model in Anim8or, texturing it then importing each part back into Anim8or then re-joining.
A time hungry way to model I know, but saved loads of time with the texturing.

Scene is from Carrara (well spotted Kev) and the smoke effect was indeed Photoshop.

I think your scene deserves a spot in the anim8or gallery.

Nicely done, I think this would be fun to see imported into some space fighter or airplane game.

Just goes to show that textures mean a lot to the quality of a model. Even a basic model can look brilliant if good textures are used. You could have the most complex model but without high quality textures its nothing compared to what it could be!
