You mean where the box is used to control the head, it's sort of like parenting so the child object copy's the rotation.

I'm not to sure whether that's possible in Anim8or though, I'll let one the more advanced users answer this.

This is not possible in anim8or. The modifier used is  FDD modifier, which i myself have suggested too a while ago. I really would like to see something like this in anim8or or a noisemodifier.
Things like this: http://www.3dtotal.com/team/Tutorials/grass/hr/23.jpg could be created very easy then.
It's a simple box with several points (2x2x2, 3x3x3, 4x4x4) which a object can be placed inside. When moving the the points of the modifier then object inside deform with it. Very helpfull for making organics.
