Title: how do i select individual points using point selector

also i cant get the diagonal line to turn vertical after i draw the N gon. im trying to make the bird but im having the above problems

can you elaborate? your question aint too clear friend. ok ill try answer it anyway .... so your in point edit mode and for example you want to select individual points on a shape....any shape lets say a sphere. Make sure you click view > wire, then make sure also you have converted the shape to mesh (if when u select the shape its outline is yellow then you have not converted it to mesh so ...build> convert to mesh) ok then make sure you're in point edit mode  (http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii218/delfin96/pointeditmodeclip.png) then click on point selector (http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii218/delfin96/pointmodeclip.png) and simply click on the points you want to select. If you want to select more than one point use the right click on your mouse or drag select.
