Interesting start, it has an odd shape, although people do come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

It looks like a good start, the nostrils could use a bit of work I believe.  Can you post a wireframe as well?  For some reason I feel it may be too condensed, though I may be wrong.

Good nose! The closest thing to a nose I can make is a sphere with holes in it.

Well I definitely think you could do with less polys.  You can check out some wireframe references on the web.  Basically I believe you're using too many faces than you need, which because of human error takes away from some smoothness you may want.  I also advise that you get some references at least for shape, since it looks a tad oddly shapen (a bit wide, etc.)
I look forward to your progress

yea i was looking at a good model on that forum page with the edgeloop explinations and tutorials. i counted all the lines for the nose and everything exept for around the nostral. im still not sure how ill do that. and i used a ref pick for the side view, and i cant find anything close that will match up on the front view. but ill pick at it (get it) and see if i can make it look better. thanks for ur c&c

As another quick pointer, when showing subdivision wireframes (and even normal wireframes) it's best to get a screenshot of the flat shaded view as the full see-through wireframe is often hard to make out, and the lack of any shading makes perspective and depth hard to see.
