Title: need help pls

Hi
i'm new here. jus met this software yesterday and i can't leave the computer...
i downloaded the latest version but i'm having some troubles:
i can't choose faces of a cylnder or a sphere/ for every other elements ts not a probleme .
any idea?

Did you remember convert it to a mesh
