Title: can't make a movie...

hy im quite new to anim8tor and ive done my first movie but when i press render-movie it makes a 0kb not-working file in the destination folder. does anyone know what to do? ???

save it to AVI and save it to both files(I don't know the name but there are three little bubbles and one says something, another says a different thing, and then there is an option for both)

there are - Image, Alpha Channel, Image+Alpha Channel and another option - Antialiased

quality - 0-100

what should i chose?

image, antialiased, avi uncompressed . to see good results
and make sure its named and saved to a directory.
you have to effectively do that twice in the boxes shown below,
though the second box gets the info from the first automatically.

hmmm i get a weird blue line in the upper left corner of the screen. it looks like a piece of a window. is that a problem in my comp or in my anim8or?

Well this depends on many things. There are many betas, and the final "magic 1.0 version" is not out yet. Version 0.95 is quite buggy (personal experience :) ) and version 0.97d beta is a... beta. nightwolf: what is your version?

mine is 0.9.5
i've noticed that the blue line is a small part of the compressor window that should appear, but it doesnt. ;/

Try downloading version 0.97d from here: http://www.anim8or.com/download/preview/index.html (http://www.anim8or.com/download/preview/index.html)
It has a lot less bugs. It's more stable than 0.95, I hope your problem will be solved.
