Pretty funny.
Animation (character and lamp) was pretty good, although at times it was too sudden and looked unnatural, such as when the character fall over and then gets up so fast into what I assume is the position you modeled it in.
Also, personally I didn't like the camera going out of the scene and then showing the ground grid, of course it's up to you how you want to show the credits (as well as everything else).

But, again, nice work.

Very nice first project, keep at it :)

Overall it's a bit on the dark side and details get lost, so maybe add a soft overall light but do keep the lamp light as main impact source. Just a suggestion.

Nice concept with simple, smooth animation.
Are you considering adding sound fx?

Thanks for your replies!
I don't think that I will change anything, because I need something more colorful now after three months of grey tubes :)

I thought that was excellent!  I have seen so few animations that try to actually tell a story that when one comes along it tends to stand out.  I liked the concept, and the animation was excellent for the most part.  A story like this is told equally well with complex or simple models, and the story came across perfectly.  There were a few moments of brilliance, such as the character being started by the lamp upon awakening - the rapid camera motion perfectly conveyed the shock.

Like previously mentioned, it was a bit dark, and I totally agree with Lynn22's lighting suggestions above (more for future projects if you are done with this one, I totally understand about the need to move on to other things!).  The model of the main character could have been a little more refined.  I think the lack of hands, and the sharply cut off ends of his arms, creeped me out a bit, and it distracted me from the action a little.  Perhaps a tapering of the arms at the end, and another bend where the wrist would be, would have been enough to prevent this.

I really enjoyed watching this, and I know we will see excellent things from you in the future!

Sorry for my late response.
I'm glad you like it!
When I began to work with this figure it was more a test object than a character, so I didn't cared about things looking cut off. Afterwards I propably was so used that look, that I didn't cared either.
I actually was planing to add hands for my next project!

witzige story.

Maybe you could take up the theme with colored objects.
