Title: some game models
Post by: drak on January 07, 2009, 11:34:44 pm
I downloaded anim8or a few years back and have been using it off an on since then.  I thought I'd post a few pictures of my projects I've been working on.

Edit: Note that these are game models, and that's why they are so low-poly.

Really nice work. Though there low poly the texturing is done very good. For a game these models are great.
Keep it going!

What is the game you're working on?

The game is called "For King and Country".  It's a medieval based action game with some strategic and rpg elements as well.  I'm not really sure how to classify it.  Anyhow I've been working on it for quite some time.  It is programmed in B3d.  These are just some models in a long list of things to make for this game.

hey drak

your work is very inspiring. Low polly but the textures really make the meshes shine.

Pretty good, do you have some wireframe shots and maybe some texture shots we could look at?

The horse seems nicely made, only crits really is that the textures are very dark and the horse seems a little thin. Good luck with the rest of the models in the list ;)

Very impressive. Did you use UV mapper to map the textures?

Very impressive simple low poly modelling and nicely textured too.
Great job drak

I used LithUnwrap to map the textures.  I have used UvMapper before, and for both being free, LithUnwrap is much more powerful and easier to use in my opinion.
