Title: Eye Hopper
Post by: xp1231 on November 24, 2008, 02:23:33 am
This is something I made a while ago, just thought i'd get some feedback on it.
If anyone knows how to get the glossyreflector attribute to be transparent, id like to add a reflective cornea to the eye on this lil thing.

How do you mean this? I can give the material a transparency and still use the specular>glossy attribute.

Nice movie btw. I reminds me of that lamp pixar has, am i right? It still needs some tweaking, sometimes the object goes through the floor and the ball floats in the air when it morphs.

Heh. Great little animation. Thanks for posting it.

For the cornea I'd just put on a high spec value and maybe an environ map. No advantage in reflections in this case?

Got it working now.  Yeah still gotta tweak the ball position when it morphs. And you're right, lol the pixar lamp was partially the inspiration for this.
