It would probably be helpful to have a timer on the render window, it would make it a lot easier to judge the effectiveness of different light setups, aswell as self information (since I can never guess how long a render will take AT all, with a timer, I could judge more accurately, and it would just help in general.
Thanks for reading.

You mean a timer during rendering? Because when the render is finished it's already shown how long it toke. Underneed the render screen in a bar it says "render=". This are the amount of seconds it toke.

Joe, when you start a render look at the red line going up over the image space. If it hardly moves it will take a looooong time else it just more or less sweeps to the top ;)

I'd like to see such feature added, it takes no time to be coded in and can be useful to get an idea about the total render time. Of course it would be an estimate projection, scanlines are different from each other, and the same is for each frame, but I would make it so that if you are rendering a single image you get the average time per scanline and the estimate for the whole image, and if you are rendering a movie, you get the average per frame and the estimate for the whole movie.
