Title: Physic now possible with cre8or and anim8or :-)
Post by: Andy_Rch on November 09, 2008, 12:43:08 pm
Hello to all anim8ors,

I have tested the new version of cre8or. It allows it to export the physical movement of objects back to anim8or. It works very good.

Here is the link to cre8ors forum:

And here is a quick animation I have made:

Note: It´s made without ART-Raytracer, so it can look much better.

As an attachment, a small gif-animation:

Awesome!!
I do agree that a tutorial would be great.  It seems like it may be time that people familiarize themselves with cre8or more!

It's great that you now can use physics in anim8or. I tried cre8or a long time ago and i forgot how it works ^^
So a tutorial on the how and what's, would be great.

hmmm... tried out that tutorial, but i'm having some trouble. I tried to import the scene in anim8or again and i just got the same scene i started with. No physics added, nothing. Just the same.
I might have forgotten a step but i tried it like ten times and it still doesn't work.
I don't know if anyone else tried the tutorial and had the same problem?

Yes I had the same problem first, but then I realized, that I was in the wrong directory. Under the temp directory go deeper into the next directory, for example "Game1092875302".

ye, that worked. I was importing the wrong file. I'm rendering the tutorial file right now, should be finished in an hour and will post it later.

EDIT: Test render added
