I like the reflections on the floor, they look awesome.

-

Eye Like It!
-
where did you get the floor texture at and what are its values?
Very Nice ;)

Glad ya guys like it :)
The "lava lamp" effect I did with these material settings :
- Ambient: 1.5 --- R:211, G:109, B 117
Diffuse: -0.500 --- R:211, G:109, B 117
Specular: 1 --- R:255, G: 255, B: 255
Emissive: 1 --- R:255, G: 46, B: 46 <--- Biggest contributer to effect
Rough: 99
Brillance: 1
Then I placed a small local light inside the egg without shadows enabled.
Floor settings...
- Ambient: .3 --- white
Diffuse: .7 --- white --- texured 100 %
Specular: .5 --- white
Rough: 32
Brilliance: 1
texture used in Bumpmap 90%
Attributes: specular reflection
Not sure if I got the texture here. but this is a pretty good source....

All together there are 4 lights in the scene and used global intensity of 2 and ambient intensity of .4 ( for those wondering )

Small update ( and smaller image )
Think I found something pretty cool.... not going to say how it's done until I master it ;)
-
I love the material on the goblet, looks like thick gold glitter.
-
Thanks. :P
Was going to make a video of it.... but that darn goblet made it take entirely too long. Maybe tomorrow I'll try again without the goblet ( was cool to see in a movie though )

Good stuff man, good stuff.

that's officially the most awesome Anim8or Eggplant ever! 8)

Excellent image VBsmiles.
Perhaps you could have a go at dragging the camera back and decreasing the field of view to eg 20 degrees. This would give the same picture with less distortion of the front elements?
A slightly darker shadow at the foot of the water filled pedestal will make it sit better on the ground and help to bring it forward in the image.
Maybe drop the pedestal down so you can see all the word a'nim8or' ?

Well, I am unable to drag the camera back farther as it is already sticking out of the wall :P The field of view I chose was to allow a maximum view, like you would see in a photo taken by a profesional photographer. I could have however made the room bigger

didn't notice, but may look into different lighting later.

Thought to do this, but attempted an avi instead. Havent looked at the thing since LOL!
Glad you like my render headwax :)
Thecolclough..... you should have seen my egg ship a couple years ago :P
edit... never rendered shadows... they was taking too long and sometimes with undesireable results.

Great, love it.
You should use it as a logo for all your videos(but obviously change the text.)

Thats some impressive texture work. You should really make a tutorial on your methods.
