Title: Steel ball

did a very small animation trying out a texture. too bad it went too fast....

That was quick. I would like to see a slower version to observe how the bump map works with the reflection.

Test it yourself i would say. It's really easy, simply make a sphere with a bump map and the specular>reflection attribute.

Nice render btw VBS, the movie was a bit short and low detailed though.

Thanks floyd. Wasn't sure how to get a detailed movie. What codek works good? ( uncompressed is just too big  )

I most of the time use DivX of Xvid codec. Render a short movie and check out some of the codec the find the one you like most. Also this website: http://vimeo.com/ lets you post High Quality movies and doesn't compresses it like youtube or video google.
