This is my first render with the scene manager... :-\
(http://basic4gl.wikispaces.com/space/showimage/Cube.jpg)
What do ya think? (i know its basic)
-
Nice. I would play around with the camera angles to get better views.
Great for your 1st render though. :)
-
It's nice work , good compostion and the complamentary colours really do a good job. Crit is the background, that diagonal horizon might be better straight.
-
Make the background black and add a local light in the center of your object and set the light to no shadows and then try it with shadows/ray trace.
Keep the light you have and just add another light in the center.
Really really nice for you first render.
-
very good first render. licks my first one hollow...
-
A very distrubing comment there... colclough.
-
sorry, joe... didn't mean to disturb anyone... :P i think it's probably down to a difference in colloquial interpretations of that figure of speech. in my dialect, it's basically synonymous with 'kicks the cr** out of'. i won't ask what it means in your dialect, it sounds like i probably don't want to know :-\
colloquial differences are such a nuisance, eh? ::)

LOL! You guys are out there
My first render was a sphere with no shadows.
-
Believe my first render was the Eggplant....... Wait, I still make them for testing materials, lighting, ect. ;D
-
Heh heh. I can't believe how many people have made eggplants from that tutorial. And I don't even LIKE eggplant!
-
there was even a competition on the old anim8or.org to make a stylized eggplant.
-
Wow... perhaps more of us have created eggplants... than robins!
ooh, now i want to see a ruby robin!

Been there done that . ( didn't come out too cozy though. )

This is way funny - The topic starts off - "This is my first render, how do you like it."
It ends with a eggplant and ruby robins
