Hello, I'm brand new to Anim8or, I just downloaded it a few seconds ago.
However, I am familiar with Blender, another 3D program, and I have made a few things on it. I was wondering if importing my .blend or rather, .obj files was possible to do with Anim8or? In addition, is there UV mapping for colouring my model in Anim8or?
If you know the answer, please tell, and if you know exactly how to do these things, please let me know, I'm just a nooby! :P
Thanks!
Oh, one more thing, if you can't do UV mapping with Anim8or, can I do the UV mapping in Blender, then bring it over to Anim8or, and it will have the skin I applied and stuff? :)

No, currently you can't import a .blend file. One of the reasons I think for this would be that .blend files most likely contain much more information than just the simple geometry and UV coordinates and simple materials.
You can do some VERY basic UV mapping in anim8or, such as planar mapping, spherical mapping and cylindrical mapping, but you can't actually edit the UV coordinates. So you'd have to drag the object into another UV mapping program afterwards. I'd advise you UV map in blender then export as a .obj. You can then import into anim8or.
I'm not sure if the .obj file will automatically hold all the textures you want. You'll want to get familiar with Anim8or materials as well, but don't worry, it's very easy, and the manual will give you most of the information you'll need to know (Unless you plan to use the new ART raytracer.)

Thanks so much for that info!
I think I will UV map in Blender, turn it into a .obj, and see how things go. :)
