just downloaded MakeHuman 0.9.1, and made a figure. used the 'export .obj' option, then in anim8or, used Object > Import > .obj.
the model comes into anim8or alright, but it's all default grey, even though in makehuman it had a skin texture. am i missing something, or is it meant to do that? ???
don't know if it makes any difference, but i'm running anim8or 0.95c, and Windows XP Pro x64.
thanks

I thinks there's no differnece, i tried it months ago and I got the same results. You must have to add the textures IN anim8or

.95c obj importer does not support the .mtl file that comes along with the .obj file to import the models texture. if you download the .96 or .97 version and use those to import the obj file, all of the makehuman textures will be imported as well.

just tried importing it in 0.97b instead - it imported flat-shaded materials, which is a step up from 0.95c, but still didn't have the texture maps which MakeHuman has. hmmph. :-\
well, thanks for the tip anyways, siragin. ;)

that is what it is suppost to do. the .mtl file extention only carries color textures, and it links to file textures. make human doesn't give you the file textures that it uses for its skin and hair for the eye lashes and eye brows. so you have to put in your own skin texture map in the body and head texture and put in your own texture map for the eye lash and eye brows. the textures are already seperated so just place your texture map in the right place.
