Well, i hadn't encountered this before, but i was just attempting to create a basic blade.
It takes a long time to create the curve to how i want it, so i'm using the drag select points, and arrow key technique.
Twice, this has crashed, because (trying to do this quickly) I have accidentally started drag selecting whilst the arrow key was held down.
I don't know why this is happening, but it's really hampering my ability to make blades :P
Can this be fixed? or will i have to just try to avoid doing that.
I am using the currently most stable version, 0.95.

Yeah, that's happened to me a well, I'm assuming your using Vista,
Try disabling desktop, I think it's a Vista stability issue, because its never happened to me on XP.

Nope, i'm using Windows XP, Home Edition.
Is this a similar issue to the odd selection of every tool that i occasionally get?
Would disabling the Desktop help either of these? and if so, how do i disable the desktop?
Thanks for the help.

Which version are you using? I used to have that problem with older versions of anim8or, but the newest v0.97b doesn't give me any trouble.

I love quote, anyway, i am using V0.95, But i do have the most recent unstable version, i only use that when i'm bored...

For moving points fast I recommend using shortcuts instead of the arrow keys. Pressing 'd' will give you drag select and pressing 'm' will give you the move tool. Able/disable the axis you need and switch between 'd' and 'm' then whole time. It's faster and anim8or won;t crash.

Alright, i'll do that, thanks.

Honestly I find v0.97 much stabler. There are still errors with 0.95 that weren't fixed in that version and are fixed in the most recent version.
I've had more trouble with v0.95 than with v0.97. The only issues I've had with v0.97 is when rendering with ART.

I second that, I only have some little problems/bugs using ART. v0.97 hasn't crashed yet since I'm using it.

ive experienced this bug as well using v0.95

Basically what I'm saying is that the bug is fixed in more recent versions.
