once you have all the bones in aligned with the body go to figure and click on the "Multi-Bone SKin" button (The one that looks like a "Y"... Well in my opinion it looks like a "Y")... then you can either do Weights or Bone Influences... Personally I like Weights better... I am not quite sure how bone influences works though

But anyway... When you have Weights picked out you just select a bone and paint the area that you want that bone to move (For instanst if you want a bone to only move a forearm, then you paint the area of the forearm)

Hope that helps... If that is your problem

Aarangend: S/he said it was already rigged.

Kiji8989: Have you added joint limits to your bones in figure mode?
Try the Walk tutorial for more info (you might just want to skip to the figure editor part).

Did you make sure the Keyframe button was green?  It must be green or it won't save keyframes in the timeline.

View your figure in Perspective and move and rotate it so that there are no other limbs close to it or behind it, then paint.

When you use weight paints it only paints the vertices (points).  You have to rotate the model so that you paint the point you want and not the one behind it.  Switch to wireframe view and zoom in close so you can see which point you are clicking on when you paint. ;)
