Audio in timeline
« on: July 22, 2008, 12:05:42 am »

Would it be possible to add the ability to insert a sound file into the timeline to help with animation? This would be greatly useful for lip-syncing to voice overs or for syncing animations with music.

(if this has already been suggested, i apologize; i didn't find anything in the search.)

I have a few ideas along this line that I'd like to add.  Nothing specific yet.  It's be nice to support audio directly but even withuot that some kind of way to mark time point would really help.

I make music and would love to have that feature. If you understand the bpm of a song then you can time the video to go with the music with a little work

If your frames are 30 per second and your music is 140bpm you would have 2.33 beast per second. Even thoe you can't put a frame on the .33, you can get close to the right timing and most people will not notice it being slightly off.

It would be a nice feature to be able to set the time line to work with music.
