Texture top and bottom
« on: July 02, 2008, 02:06:50 am »

Hi I'm kind of new with anim8or and I've had a problem with textures lately. The textures will appear on the sides of my model but they wont appear on the top or bottom of the model. :( I thank anyone who responds.

Have you tried UV mapping (it's the button with UV written on it)
Or have you already UV mapped it, and the texture comes out weird?
With that, you'd go to Point Edit Mode and UV Map from different views (after you've selected different faces)

And don't forget to read the manual and search the forum for answers using the "Search" bar.

You'd want to scale the texture, when UV mapping, click on the Middle Mouse Button (scroll wheel) and then drag the mouse until you get the desired result.
if you don't have the scroll wheel you can press Alt+Right Mouse Button
