Can you add morphs after rigging?
« on: July 01, 2008, 10:15:23 am »

I have a model that I rigged with a pretty complex skeleton and now I want to add morph targets to it.  I used weight paints to attach the skeleton to the model.  I created some morph targets but when I looked at the figure the weight paints were gone, meaning instead of the model being multi colored it was all red.  Is there a way to add morphs to a model after you have rigged it with weight paints?  Thanks.

Yes, you can add morphs... The weights usually disappear if you add or delete some points; once you have painted them, you must not change the structure of your model, but you can create morphs as you normally do...

Thanks Kubajzz.  You're right, I just tried it.  I guess I was doing wrong before.
