Pathing Gifs
« on: June 01, 2008, 05:05:31 am »

:)I am new to anim8or and i am not sure if you can do this already:

As known with gif images they can contain transparency

I was wondering if you could path around the image of a block or something that has a transparent background

here is an example of what i mean

before

attachment 1

After

attachment 2

This can be used with cars.

just as a quick way of doing it ;)

The attchments might not work

Welcome to the forum, be sure to read the manual, do the tutorials and use the search bar for questions
You can do it manually using the STRAIGHT PATH tool then extruding or going to POINT EDIT mode and using the ADD EDGE tool.

what do you mean by "sections" ? thanks. :)

P.S. my biggest problem is the "100 points" limit where it won't do the end caps.

By sections i mean do the front part of the car then do the back.
When your finished join them together :)

Oh and also for the 100 point limit do that in parts
