Noob on exporting
« on: May 11, 2008, 05:32:09 pm »

I've been using anim8or to generate 3d models for a while and I was just thinking that perhaps I would try using it for making games now that I've had experience with it. So I just want to know what 3d game engines would support an8 files, or a8s scripts.

Thanks!

I doubt any major engines would (though 'Polly' and 'Cre8or' are exceptions). The file format is relatively logical though: you could write your own importer (I am doing the same right now). Or you could export the image into a more common format such as 3ds or obj.

Since I'm not good at anything beyond art, which therefore excludes importing, I'll give Cre8or a shot.
