Cancer wiped out the past two years but Im back.
« on: January 11, 2021, 02:02:11 am »

The last post I read here was on dec 27. 2018-  then the next two years have been hell as I fell under the effects of stage 3B colon cancer and the chemo. Tomorrow is my last chemo if I am cancer free.

Last time I was on here I was using this program as an alternative to sketchup on linux for my woodshop.  Well my woodshop hasnt been open for more than a year. Lost much of my equipment to the bank etc.  You know the whole cancer spiel.  But I lived!  And I am able to code and create graphic art again!

I began developing games again. Released one game about a month ago, have been selling game assets.   The current project I am on requires about 90 models.  I am developing in Defold and Godot.  Defold can use dae models and Godot can use several.  Both can use png renders.

So what is the current build is 1.00b the latest version or is there a later build?

Any cool new developments?

I believe my last conversation I looked up we were discussing how to do a batch rendering of orthoganal views in 8 cardinal points of direction.  That will be one of my first things I need to learn as well as relearning the software.

Thanks for being here.  This type of modeling program is needed.

Welcome back! Glad to hear your chemo is ending.

The latest build is build 1395 dated January 5, 2021. While it's labeled as a development build, it is very solid and has many new and improved features. See the Ongoing Anim8or Development forum for details.
