Faster rendering?
« on: November 11, 2020, 08:28:02 am »

Hello.

Could it be possible to speed up the rendering of a movie scene in such way so that only the pixels that are being changed between two frames are getting processed in a second frame?

Regards

In general this isn't possible. Without rendering a pixel it's not always possible to know what color it should be. You can some up with situations where it would be possible, of course, but in any global lighting scheme moving one object, even it is off the screen, can do things like cast a shadow or appear in a reflection that is visible.
