Put a Modifier IN an object??....
« on: April 09, 2008, 03:54:10 pm »

Hi,

Yesterday, I tried to do the hand tutorial on the Anim8or site.  The only difference is that, I added a finger.  I'm on the last part, put the modifier that will bend the fingers.  I start by the little finger.

I did that:

But when I move to left view... The Modifier is there!

So I move the modifier:

And the modifier appear at the center of the hand!!  ??? ???

How can I place it in my little finger correctly?

Thanks

it just seems like you're having trouble because of the position of your hand, go to edit --> Locate --> Centre about origin
and Edit --> Rotate --> Rotate none

that should make it a little easier

Oh!  We can do that?!  Place it in default position!  :) This will help me a lot.  But, I don't work, my modifier is still in the center of my hand...

Also, you can resize the modifier as well to make it bigger than the finger, but you dont want it so big it overlaps with the other finger.
