Walk cycles are tricky. You can get a lot of visual guides if you do a google image search for "walk cycle"

Basic figure's walk cycle is based on some random image of walk cycle. But, I didn't make flexible foot with two bones with skinning. I realised that and for Mr Beaver I made it.
