i think An8 could theoretically work on an MS Surface or similar tablet running Windows 8 or 10, but i'm not sure as i haven't tested it.  it won't work on Android, iOS etc

I've tried it a *little*, a **WHILE** back on iPad with a VNC viewer. So not really the same, at all. I'm not sure the controls in Anim8or are so tablet friendly at the moment, although you can do everything with only the mouse, which becomes a finger on a tablet. It's worth a shot.

I have a Surface 10 and it runs Anim8or OK. You can so a lot of things easily directly on the screen which is kinda fun. Moving, scaling and rotating work very well especially with the hot-keys to choose the proper tool. Use two fingers to enlarge and diminish the views, etc.

There are a few issues. It doesn't have multiple mouse buttons so you need to use the mouse area on the key board or attach a real mouse for some features. But you can often find an easy way to make it work. For example the Topo Kinfe (new in the Ongoing Development builds) needs a right click to stop connecting new edges. Instead just switch to Select mode (hot key "a" or touch the arrow button) and switch back (hot key "k" or touch the Topo Knife button) and you're ready to go.

Be sure to set the button size to large in the Fine->ConfigureGUI dialog. This makes the toolbar buttons easier to touch correctly.

I use a Viglen 10.1" Windows 10 tablet, with a wireless mouse and bluetooth keyboard, works nicely, though it does take time sometimes to respond with large models! Using the touch screen can be infuriating.
