'Key all bones' not selecting
« on: December 13, 2015, 05:06:24 am »

build 1203.  Awesome.
Have found a bug to report:
Selecting figure in scene mode, or 'figure' in timetrack, is not selecting all bones, as it did in previous builds/versions and is not showing bounding box of selected figure.
Related is:
'Key all bones' is 'keying all bones', but is not selecting them.
Important for quick keying then copy/pasting.

I changed that because when you are editing bones it makes a rather cluttered screen with all those trackballs popping up everywhere.  But I didn't realize that it would interfere with copying keys.  I'll change it back.

'Key all bones' is 'keying all bones', but is not selecting them.

I think it's important to keep the selections in the graphics window and highlighted items in the track and graph editors all in sync, and I've been fixing a lot of related, annoying little errors, which is partially why this has changed, plus I made some changes I thought might help.

In build 1194 and earlier when you clicked on a figure in the track window it:

1) Selected the figure and all of it's bones in the track window,
2) the bounding box for the figure was visible, but
3) the bones were not highlighted in the graphics window.

So the changes that I'm making will revert to more or like it was before with some differences. When you click on a figure in the track window it will:

1) Select the figure and all of it's bones in the track window, the graph editor and in the graphics views,
2) if you are using the bone rotate tool all the trackballs will appear, and
3) the bounding box will not be shown because I thought it only got in the way but I can easily re-enable it if that's what everyone prefers.

To me the screen looks too cluttered with all bones selected and trackballs visible. I should be posting an update soon.  Let me know what you think when you get a chance to try it.

Cool steve.
That all makes good sense, and I agree with the changes you're introducing.

 I suppose....

2) if you are using the bone rotate tool all the trackballs will appear
, really just means if you're selecting the entire figure, then try not to be in bone rotate mode at the same time.
As far as bounding boxes go, they are a handy thing when there are multiple figures in a scene, so i, for one, would vote for keeping the bounding boxes.
And thanks for understanding about the quick copy/paste, when bones are automatically selected. It will be good to have that back
Looking forward to trying the next build.
This is all going very nicely at this end.
