build 1088 and mirroring
« on: June 28, 2014, 01:35:09 pm »

Mirroring isn't working here, is it an issue in 1088 ?

I start with half a sphere , choose to start mirroring, and it leaves me with not what I had before I mirrored, but 1/3 of the half sphere , pls tell me that isn't a intended effect ? ;))

The mirror tool mirrors along the X-axis, with the plane of symmetry at the zero X-coordinate. Make sure the half that needs to be mirrored is lined up on the X-axis (if starting with a sphere, go to Edit->Locate->Center Around Origin). You also don't have to delete the other half--it'll automatically replace the left-hand side with the mirrored content.
