It's been so long since I've stopped by these forums. I just want to thank the anim8or community for helping me and inspiring me to get into 3d modeling. I can't believe I started with this program, and I was happy to see a full 0.98 version out. I moved on to 3ds max but I will always every once in a while, open anim8or and start doing things. This program is and has always been, the BEST inroduction to 3d modeling.

Thanks,  Kamagoi!  That's exactly what I wrote Anim8or for.  Max is and always has been a fantastic program but it's not necessarily the best way to get started in 3D. I have a bit of work to do to get Anim8or back in good for, but since I'm retired now I finally have the time to do it.

I too started with ANIM8OR, love it! I am getting into blender a little...but do a lot with Steve's program and then import to blender. Sounds like you may start updated ANIM8OR! That would be great!
