Skirts/robes
« on: June 26, 2014, 10:07:42 pm »

I seem to be able to do skirts and robes, and they seem to work okay for walking.

But it sure doesn't work when you try to have them take a chair. Don't have an image handy, but think along the lines of those Carol Burnett sketches involving hoops skirts; all will be revealed when they sit down. Any guidance?

Am pretty sure that the only tools you have for this are bones, morph targets, imagination and patience.
No pics here, but had the same problem with a knee length skirt. Fine walking around, but trouble when she sat down. Added some 'dress forwrd' morphs, and adjusted to match legs when sitting. Took a few tweaks and attempts. Worked, but not 'perfectly'.
What you've got there so far looks very good for anim8able clothing. Well done.
Is it this pc i'm on, or did you not bother with anti aliasing in the gif you've posted?

I didn't antialias it, so your eyes are (were) okay. Thanks for those suggestions.
