Small clarification

Hi i looked into MP3d tutorial for human face. I downloaded the reference image as well.. when i try to draw something on top of the refernce image its not displayed. like i cannot see what i'm drawing. and one more thing, for using the add edge , do i need a point on screen or can i draw just any where in the space and connect two points. how can i make a thing with lot of smalll piercings on it, e.g(like shower tap) .

If you are using a reference image then I suggest you Highlight the image, then go to top view move the ref image back, then go back to front view, and you will be able to see your points as you draw..... you need to do this for side views as well.

If you just leave the image in its initial position then you will not be able to see any points being drawn
