Yes Steve is still alive, hes been busy but still is planning on making a new version of anim8or when he gets more time with everything the way it is right now I'm sure he is just too busy at the time.

Steve is still alive and well. Just too dang busy to work on Anim8or, we assume. But I'm sure he sticks in whatever spare time he has and crams it into Anim8or's source code. ;)

I have a question on this too.   with the script-making feature Anim8or has, is he using the scripts we make and give/show everyone? if not, that would be a quick and easy way to make features

He's locked in a tower with nothing but a windows 98 computer working on the next version of anim8or, and he's not coming out till he's finished. muahhahaa ha ha haa!

Seriously though Steve, it'd be nice to know what your up to. if you think your anywhere close to posting an update any kind. this has to be a record gap between releases, no? Not that you owe us anything, if you wanted to give it up thats also up to you, it'd just be nice to clue us in a bit, you know?

I know he visits the forum every few weeks, but I'd like to hear the word if he and his family are fine. I don't ask for any promises about the future of Anim8tor, just simple: 'Hello, Big Steve's watching you. I'm healthy and fine. I have eleven kids/well paid job at... which takes 99,9% of my free time'.
That would totally satisfy me and my curiosity. Period.
