you mean like how they animated the eyes and mouth? some sort of morph targets i'm sure

Since that's Ensoniq's video, and he routinely prowls this forum, you could always ask him.  But I'd start by reading the manual for Anim8or (several times is best), and then it's just plain practice, practice, practice!

Well, Eraser Man is a lazy little bugger at the best of times and let me tell you, he is damn near impossible to direct.  At times I had no other option than to use an electric cattle prod on him just to get his attention!  Seriously, never work with children, animals or recalcitrant erasers!

In all honesty I really don't know how to answer your question... it's a bit like asking "how long is a piece of string?".  The short answer is 'keyframing' but that won't mean much to you until you have read through the manual as Rudy suggests.  After that, use the 'search' function on this forum to find previous responses to any specific issues you come across... I can almost guarantee that somebody else found the same issue before (if you do find a truly unique problem I will take my hat off to you!).  This is a helpful and respectful forum, but our usefulness starts where the manual and forum archive ends.  Welcome to the Anim8or community and good luck with your projects.
