Spambots have gotten very smart lately, they know what we're talking about. :P

It's true, I was just on another forum recently and we had discovered that a bot had been posting there since 2007! a lot of its posts were on topic, the only give away was his poor grammar.  googling its posts reveals it posts the same thing on various other forums.   its getting harder to tell who's a bot and who's not these days.  They search for commonly used words and phrases to copy/paste questions from other places that appear relevant, and even answer some on occasion to blend in.  For all we know, You or I could be one. haha

Oh? Wow, that must have been quite annoying. >.>

I hope you're not a spambot, because I'm replying to your post. :P

Yes, we moderators have a hard time deleting all those spam posts. And now those spambots are getting smarter and smarter, it will be even harder. There some easy tricks to recognize them...but still. Ofcourse people of the forum can help by reporting spammers to the moderators. This can be done by simply clicking the 'report to moderator' button underneed every post ;)

Oh, I forgot about that button! I'll do that from now on. :)

EDIT: Speaking of spambots, this is the worst I've ever seen! And it happened today! On the Cre8or forums! :o

50 different topics, all with advertising spam...I feel for the moderators there.. :(
