Hello there RetroZombie.

Cool dude. Nice morphs. The model needs work, but has potential.
Probably most importantly would be that 'the legs and feet are too close together, which will make it near-impossible to skin anyway.
Skinning: The art of attaching model to bones.
So, 1st thing, after fixing the legs, is to build a skeleton.
Section 5 of the manual covers the figure editor. Ignore building the bird, because you are dealing with 1 object, and not a number of different objects attached to thier own seperate bones. (which is what the bird tutorial is about).
Just concentrate on the parts titled 'Building a skeleton', 'Flexible joints' and 'skinning'.
Read the skinning section, but use the 'painted weights' option, rather than the eggy shaped oval thingys.
That'll all be a good start.
Lets no how you're going. Glad to help where i can.
