starting programme

Just registered. Downloaded OK. Tried to start .exe programme. Got whiteout of screen and "Anim8tor has stopped working". Have Vista programme. How can I get the programme to start? Love to get into the programme but cannot start it.

...while I know nothing about that, try downloading another version (v0.97d, if that's not the one you're using).

Make sure you have XP compatibility checked in the program properties.

MANY THANKS!!! I saw video re using Vista - said put on desktop and run as XP SP2. I am into the programme - yippee. (excessive outburst from usually restrained British native!) Hope to use it well. MB

The best place to start is by reading (and re-reading) the Manual, here: http://www.anim8or.com/manual/index.html

But to be honest, you haven't said anything about where you want to start.  The more information you supply, the more likely it is you'll get some relevant help.  For instance, can you even open the program?  If not, what your computer type, operating system, graphics card, etcetera, etcetera...
