Why not just take a look at Leslie's website (http://www.biederman.net/leslie/terranim8or/terranim8or.htm), since it's his creation?  There's lots of examples and tutorials there.

I didn't understand it. Is it something that makes morphing easier? Like water ripples?

it builds ground and water type meshes, to make water move you animate the texture. correct me if I am wrong, but morphing is where you animate the mesh.

terranim8or can do alot, it can simulate fire, explosion, water, terrains. It's a helpful tool when working with anim8or.
