The UV tool can be used to reset the texture coordinates for a whole object or individual faces.  Best suggestion I can make is check out the manual on this feature and experiment with it.  It is simplistic compared to full UV mapping but for basic geometric volumes works well.

i hate it how people try to act smart and makes it confusing and thinks you understand what they say.

No need to start being rude, both Lynn and Ensoniq5 were trying to help you.

Check out the following chapter in the manual: http://www.anim8or.com/manual/3_object_editor.html#object_edit_operations

Read the part about the UV tool, that is what Ensoniq5 was referring to.

Kyle, there's no excuse for insulting a member like that, especially when they're trying to help you.
In the field of computer graphics there is a lot of lingo and specialized language you will learn.  The best way to learn this, is, when you hear it, look it up to find out what it means.

Whenever I answer a forum post I assume the poster has read the manual and therefore has a basic understanding of the fundamentals of Anim8or, and I also (usually) offer tips and guidance only, never a full point-by-point methodology.  By far the bulk of my Anim8or understanding has been gleaned through experimentation, with the manual as a guide, and I offer no apologies for expecting others to take a similar road.  I would never expect a new Anim8or user to have the manual memorised, but it should be the first point of reference when a problem or hurdle is encountered.  Anim8or is available to all who wish to express their creativity through 3D modelling and animation, it is not a "paint by numbers" type package.

Kyle101:  My advice to you, as it always is to new users, is to read the manual, browse this site for tutorials (there are many and new ones pop up all the time, thanks to Kreator and other helpful Anim8ors), Google the web for more tutorials, and experiment.  As a further piece of advice to you especially, please respect the fact that this forum is populated and frequented by hobbyist animators, none of whom are under any obligation to offer assistance to anybody, but consistently do because they appreciate how the new Anim8or user feels and they wish to assist them to become proficient and productive Anim8or users.  This has always been a respectful community, to get the most from this site I would suggest you maintain an appropriate level of respect from its members.  Good luck with your Anim8ing, and if you are still having trouble understanding the UV tool and the UV mapping concept after following the above advice please post some screen shots of your work showing the specific problem and I am sure the Anim8or community will do the best they can to steer you in the right direction.

Seems my friend, you are on the forum just to upset as many people as possible, If you are not interested in learning Anim8or, with all the help you are given, then I suggest you try brushing up on your both your spelling and socialising with people of all ages creeds and nationalities at school.

Thanks by the way for letting me know of the broken link ( now fixed )

Alright, I'm locking this topic... Kyle's original question was answered more than once and we do not need arguments here.
