It's certainly a good start. To make it less cartoony you may need to add more details, to the wings, to the head even the body (it doesn't seem to have legs)

Also, once you apply nice textures and bumpmaps it will look a lot better.

The dragon will have legs & details but i plan to finish the basic shape first.

EDIT: Here are the hind legs

Progressing well, though I would remove what seems like an overlay with scratches for it diminishes the quality of your model.

Texturing next ? ;)

well the entire body of the dragon is made up of a single cylinder ,the legs with two more cylinders and the hands and claws too are made of cylinder. You are free to copy it ,in fact steve has already shown this technique in the eggplant tutorial.

Now it's getting really beautiful. Personally, I would move the camera a bit to the left so that there is more background in front of the dragon than behind it but that's just a matter of taste ;D

Looking really good! I might add a few more of those rock pillars though in the backround. Might give a nice effect. And like Lynn said maybe bring the camera around a bit for a little more of the front view of the dragon. otherwise looks awesome! keep up the good work!

Um....... I shifted the camera to the right so that others dont notice the face as it's looking terrrible without eyes. The bright spot too was added for the same purpose.:P I am working on the eyes now.

not to be too critical but that model would only look good from far away. i think your better off not converting it to subdivded and just use your textures to your advantage. all you really need is to finish his face and i think it will look good from all angles. but since its a low poly model nothing looks sharp and everything is way too dull and rounded.

hopefully someone who knows how to texture stuff will help us all out. im lost at making texture too but i know that you can make virtually something out of nothing with textures. hopefully hiho headwax $imon neo or anyone who knows how to texture well would chime in and give us all a hand. (sorry for puttin u guys out there.)
