I'm having a problem. When I try to use the "Add Edge" tool nothin happens. I try dragging it across the screen nothin will happen. What should I do?

This is definitely covered in the manual, Kyle101.  First off, you need to make sure you're trying to add an edge to an existing mesh.  So, if you've simply created a primitive, you must first convert it to a mesh (select it, and click Build > Convert to Mesh).  Next, in Object/Point Edit mode, select the Add Edge tool.  You can only add an edge by first clicking on a vertex and dragging.

instead of making a cube or whatever and convert it to mesh. go to your point edit mode select the add edge button and then hold shift and click and drag.

i coudlnt figure that one out for awhile too. i did what rudy does and just made a cube convert to mesh then delete all but 1 point.

Make sure your using it from an edge taht is coloured green when you select it in wireframe.
