tiny primitives issue

hi

I've just discovered anim8or, and allready have some problems...

I've starded with eggplant tutorial, and when I add primitives they are tiny and I can't resize them.

What to do?

My pc laptop is with vista and intel GMA graphic

One possible problem is your integrated graphics chip, but...

What do you mean, exactly, by "when I add primitives...?"  You realize that once you select a primitive shape, you click-and-drag on the screen until it's the size you want, don't you?  Also, once it's created, you can generally double-click on it, and a dialog box will pop up that allows you to enter dimensions.

none of it works what you suggest.

Did you try using the scale tool? Select the primitive and hit 's' you will see the the scale button is now selected (on the left toolbar). Now click and drag to resize your primitive.

none of it works what you suggest...   

Once you select an N-Gon primitive, and specify how many sides it is to be, you simply click-and-drag in the edit window (holding the left mouse key) until it's the size you want.  If this doesn't work for you, you're either doing something wrong, or it is your graphics chip.

Have you got the latest graphics drivers?

Have you tried selecting just a circle, cylinder, or rectangle and clicking-and-dragging?  I know for sure that will allow you to re-size by double-clicking on the primitive once you've created it.
