i know its only been a day since i posted. and i should probably start this in a wip section. but even if u cant use this model im still gonna finish it. atleast the head anyway. heres where im at now. if i dont hear a response ill start a wip topic.

Looks good. Funny how you work with separate sections, I would have started with a sphere, and a bunch of blocky objects to deform.

yea ive modeled a few different ways. usually if i dont have a reference pic i'll box sphere or cyl model cause it gives me sort of a guide. but i had a pretty good ref image for yoda. i did the side view 1st then extruded. then i worked on the nose then lips then the brow. then once i had a decent shape i started fixing my loops. ( i still dont have them right) im getting there though, its still a wip. and i think i just stole this guys topic thing so i made a topic on the wip section.

Just go for it! I can help with putting sound to the animation when it's all done if you need it.

I really don't mean to put a damper on your enthusiasm, but others besides me will tell you that dozens of "community projects" have been suggested here over the past several years.  Yet, I have a hard time remembering more than one that came to fruition.  Good luck, though...

That's quite disappointing. I just hope there's progress with those.
