Taking Snapshots of your Designs
« on: August 05, 2009, 03:42:54 pm »

I'm new to Anim8or(started yesterday) and made three models so far. I'm wondering, "How am I suppose to get a snapshot of my creations and share it with my friends and family?". How am I suppose to do that. Does anim8or have something you can use to get a snapshot? Is there a program that you can take snapshots of things your on? ???

You can use PrtScreen key on your PC which saves a screengrab,  then use paste from clipboard  in a graphics program.

I think kyle is more referring to making a render...
Position your object in the middle of the screen. Then go render> render image. When the render i done you can save it to you computer.
Read more about it in the manual.

Once you get more advanced, there is an entire mode for "rendering" your creations, or creating images with things such as shadows, transparency, etc.  You can learn about this more from tutorials which you can find on the Anim8or site or on google as well as reading about it in the manual.
