help on loading Textures
« on: June 10, 2009, 02:33:11 pm »

Hey everyone! I'm trying to learn how to draw 3D cause I really want to have a future as a graphic artist. I can already draw 3D pretty good. Anyways can you guys help me on loading textures. I looked at tutorials and some videos on youtube. It doesn't work. Every time I try and load the textures there is just a grey ball. Not the texture I wanted. Do I have to save them In a certain file?

I would be very happy if you guys can help.
 :)

Hey now I can see the ball with the texture, but when I click apply it doesn't work. The 3D object, the ball, is just gray. Do I have  something not turned on?

Did you select your model before you clicked apply ? Or some of your model's faces if your texture does not cover your whole model ?

I'm pretty sure I did that, I'll experiment with it a little.

EDIT: Yeah, I made sure I selected it, didn't work. Maybe it something with the 3D object.
