Looking for Voice Wav files please help
« on: June 25, 2009, 06:33:21 pm »

Hello there, I'm searching for english wav files that say one word eg apple, I, need, drink etc.

Reason? To link to a html document to help a non verbal person to communicate an idea when they mouse over a suitable picture.

I don't want to use inbuilt robotic voice that come with computers for various reasons.

I've found a whole lot of online dictionaries that come with flash files that do what I want, but so far have not been able to download the flashfiles though I have downloaded IE pug in.

Why am I asking here?

Because anim8ors are always stumbling on sound files to use in anim8tions, so maybe someone has a source they could point me to?

thanks in advance

Well I don't know how useful this will be to you, but it has a few slightly useful phrases / words, mainly meant for background noise really I think.

Maybe it'll help:
