Normally I have no problem on render image but now it gets all messed up. The one on the right is a screen shot and one on the left is the render....what am I doing wrong?

The answer is simple: you're not doing anything wrong...

A rendered image usually looks differently than what you can see in the editor. The reason why this happens is simple:

The Anim8or GUI uses a "simple" and fast way to display shapes and colors to allow real-time operations. Once you render an image, the program uses much more accurate (and more complex) shading methods and that's why a rendered image is usually a little different.

here's a little advice: When you're creating a material, always make a test render to see what it "really" looks like and don't worry if you see something weird in the editor.
